“5th Saturday” Breakfast

On Saturday 30 July, we held the first of our new informal Saturday breakfast meetings. For many years, on the fifth Monday of the month, we have held a more social evening meeting. We are trying out a new idea – a Saturday morning social, on the fifth Saturday.

The first was held at Nick Bell’s home, where members, family and friends enjoyed bacon or sausage rolls, and a plentiful supply of tea, coffee and juice. It was also the first opportunity to meet the new Tools for Self Reliance intern, Thomas Bwambale from Uganda, who is being hosted by Nick until his TFSR accommodation is ready.

A very pleasant morning – we’re now looking forward to the next – we plan a variety of venues.
