Another 800 trees planted at Hinton Ampner

On Saturday, February 15th 2025, a team of over 25 Rotarian and non-Rotarians joined forces on the National Trust’s Hinton Ampner estate to plant another 800 trees, a mixture of:

  • Oak
  • Field Maple
  • Hawthorne
  • etc.

It was a bit of a muddy trek from the parking area to where we were planting, but having made it the team did an amazing job, completing the task in about 4 hours!

As previously, we were well supplied with tea, coffee, hot chocolate and plenty of biscuits by Steph and Sophie from the National Trust team.

We have another planting session on Wednesday, March 12th, with places filling fast.
