Bookmarks have landed! Our new marketing tool

As was briefly alluded to at our last dinner meeting, our Communication and Marketing team have designed a new tool for our armoury – A club bookmark!

Whilst our other publications like annual reviews, quarterly newsletters, trifold leaflets, etc. are very useful. It is likely that once read, or even just skimmed, if we’re lucky they’ll be stored in a drawer and reappear on occasion.

What we wanted was something that could be useful to people, and hence be something they would see on a regular basis, giving them a subliminal reminder of our club and what we do.

A secondary requirement from the Membership team was to provide something that could be given to other clubs, in place of the traditional club banners, which we ran out of some time ago.

The team came up with the idea of the bookmarks, based upon similar ones provided by English Heritage. When they send out their annual booklet of venues they manage to members, they include a bookmark that has useful information on the back.

The design has an image of Winchester, taken from St. Giles Hill, with one of our centenary logos on one side. And on the other, as you can see, it includes the End Polio Now logo, details of our areas of service and a QR code, which will take people to our website.

If you are considering an event where you have the opportunity to tell our story, then please consider taking some of these along with you to give away. Please contact the club secretary or the communications team if you would like some for a suitable event.
