On Monday, December 15th 39 of us, including Thomas from Rotaract gathered at the Wessex Hotel for our Christmas Party.
There was certainly a lively atmosphere in the room, and from what I could see, the food and drink seemed to go down very well. It was a great test for my new hearing aids! We also discovered the secret for getting JJ and Sue onto the dance floor – Jive, and have found a new dancing talent in Derek!
I thought that you would also like to know how much was raised by the raffle to provide the children at the displacement camp near Kasese, Uganda with a Christmas meal. The final total was £310.
