Our meeting at the Golden Lion on Monday 23 June was the final meeting of the 2024-25 Rotary year.
A warm evening brought out a good number of members, plus one prospective new member. Advantage was taken of the garden before the meeting!
Following the meal, and the opportunity to wish Nick Bell and the team imminently departing for Uganda “bon voyage”, retiring President Paul Russell gave a detailed report on his year in office, accompanied by an overview in photo slides. A busy year indeed, with a good number of highlights.
Following Paul’s presentation, he then passed the chain of office to Mark Butcher, who is Club President for 2025-26.
Mark presented Paul with a “certificate” showing everyone who is or was, a member of Winchester Rotary during 2024-25.
