In late 2023 Winchester Rotary generously donated £500 to help refurbish the library and children’s working area in the Holy Family’s Children’s Home, St Lucia. This was supplemented by contributions from the local Rotary Club of Gros Islet, (RCGI).
The refurbishment work was completed in early 2024. Over the summer a very fine engraved wooden plaque was designed and produced. Its presentation was then withheld until I was back on the island in October.
The photo shows, L to R – Richard Spalding, Lenita Joseph, (IPP RCGI), Sister Antonia David and Simone Skinner, (member of RCGI).
