On Saturday 5 October, a team of six represented Winchester Rotary at the Inner Wheel quiz held in Littleton Hall. The charity benefiting was Mercy Ships – about £600 was raised.
Inner Wheel President Sonia Carver welcomed a good number of participants, with Inner Wheel members making up teams with friends and family. Fish and chips were provided and much enjoyed.
Rotary representation was affected by the upcoming Clarendon Marathon the following day – however, President Paul Russell and Gill, Nick Bell, Anne Smith – joined by Thomas Bwambale and Nick’s brother-in law David, made up the team. Much to our surprise we were the winners – and received a bottle of wine each!
