This was a special day in President Paul’s busy year as our Winchester Rotary President. The lunch, which took place at the Flower Pots Inn at Cheriton, an excellent venue, was very well attended.
Paul welcomed two past Mayors of Winchester, Cllr Russell Gordon-Smith last year’s Mayor and his wife Dinah Ashcroft; and former Winchester Rotarian Eileen Berry Mayor of Winchester 2014-2015, together with many club members, their partners and friends. He also welcomed members of Rotaract, Inner Wheel, Honorary Members, Friends of Rotary, and Winchester Rotary former members. It was such a joy to meet again so many old friends.
An excellent lunch followed a sparkling wine reception. The room was filled with lively conversation, laughter and friendship.
Thank you once again, Nick Bell, for organising such an enjoyable club event.
Thank you Paul and Gill for your generous hospitality by providing all the wine for the most enjoyable celebration of Paul’s year as our Rotary Club President.
