On Thursday 11 December, at the invitation of former Rotarian Geoff Cox, a small team of members of our club were on ‘duty’ to look after the audience at the Winchester City Festival Choir’s Christmas Concert at St Paul’s Church.
So Ian and Chris Valentine, Mike Billington, Ian White and myself welcomed the audience of two hundred or so, checked tickets, found seats, helped them to a glass of mulled wine in the interval and generally looked after the wellbeing and enjoyment of everyone.
A very professional event, providing publicity and exposure for Winchester Rotary.
That’s wonderful to hear! Thank you all for stepping up and helping Geoff!
