On a foggy Wednesday, March 5th morning Dave Stewart, Mike Billington and Mark Butcher headed to pastures new at the Cornerstone Primary School in Whiteley.
There at the invitation of Councillor Sudhakar Achwal, current Deputy Mayor of Winchester, who all being well will become an honorary member of the club when he becomes Mayor in May.
The team along with an excellent team of student helpers planted 3 large (3m) Elm trees of the Ademuz variety and a single small (less than 1m) Elm tree of the Lettuce variety.
As per usual, the students were an absolute delight to work with and the headteacher and staff were delighted with the outcome.
