Event details
Basignstoke Loddon Rotary’s annual duck race, this year in aid of the Hampshire and Isle of Wight Air Ambulance.
They would also appreciate help in the day, as follows. If you click on the Volunteer Now button, it will help you send an email to the organisers.
Hello
We are fast approaching our Duck Race looking for a few volunteers. It would be to mainly help with the car parking in particular but we also have a couple of stands that we run (tombola, Duck merchandise, a few games) and just general assisting people.
We would ask that people turn up around 11am if they are helping with the car parking to attend the briefing, with the main event starting at 12pm with the first race at 1pm. As it is at the pub there are people turning up until around 2.30pm and we would probably pack up not long after 3pm (although we do play by ear).
If you are able to help, even just for an hour or two that would be much appreciated, a bit of cover to allow us to grab a drink or a comfort break is always nice.
I have copied in Katharine who is the lead for the Duck Race so if you could reply to both of us that would be great.
Hope you have a good Bank Holiday weekend.
Regards
Rebecca
