Breakfast Meeting – 11th century hidden gem in the heart of Winchester

Our breakfast meeting returns for October – with Beauman Chong (churchwarden at St Lawrence in the city centre) as our guest.  St Lawrence is a hidden treasure in the heart of our historic city, with a story going back as far as the 11th century.  Beauman will focus on the civic rather than ecclesiastical role of the building.  We have a good relationship – the church hosted at no charge our two fundraising concerts for Ukraine (featuring members of the Winchester Ukrainian community) – and those with longer memories will remember the concerts by Peter Symonds specialist music course students we arranged over a number of years.
