With apologies for the late notice, come along to breakfast on Wednesday! It’d be great to get together for the first after a summer break and as ever, we have a great speaker lined up; Beauman Chong will talk to us about St Lawrence Church, not about it’s Christian mission, but about it’s history (The church is just off the High Street, probably of Norman origin, and said to have been the chapel of William the Conqueror‘s palace (built 1069–70, destroyed 1141) with a tower added in the 15th century), and it’s role in the community.
