Event details
We’ll be planting 16 disease resistant Elm tree saplings at St. Peter’s school.
This will involve:
- Digging the holes and adding compost to give the trees a good start.
- Installing the guards – Apparently Elm bark is a delicacy for Deer and Rabbits!
- Staking the saplings
With enough people we should be able to complete this within 2 hours.

Sorry Mark, all ready tied up then. Great initiative and plan. Hope it goes well.
I have 2 additional guests who have volunteered to plant the saplings:
Dave Pearson (regular volunteer at St Giles Hill Graveyard)
David Ortego (volunteered at Unit12 on Saturday)
