End of year celebration and 5th Monday

Event details

We’re organising a combined 5th Monday Social and end of Rotary year celebration.   Spouses, Partners and Friends are welcome.  It will consist of an evening laid out as follows:

• 6:00 for 6:30pm: Welcome reception with a glass of fizz or Orange juice.
  • If anybody is available to arrive a bit early and help with setting up the tables, that will be good.  We are being given the Churchill room (Where we normally play skittles) for free!
• 7:00pm: Roughly an hour and a half of bowls, guided by members of the Winchester Club Bowls team.  Note: We will be required to wear flat soled shoes.  No heels will be allowed on the hallowed turf.
• 8:30pm (ish): Meal – Details below:

Including green fees, cost of the welcoming drink, including corkage and the meal, we will be charging £30 per head.

Any additional drinks that you want during the evening can be obtained at the bar at very good prices.

When booking, please specify whether each person attending would prefer fizz or a soft drink, so that we can determine how much to buy.  The Winchester Club have advised that it will be cheaper for us to buy the reception drinks ourselves than through them, though there will be a corkage charge.
