Alex delivers a motivational talk entitled  ‘A Minor Setback’. His aim is to motivate others to overcome adversity and take on new challenges in life.

His talks about the power of friendship, his journey and the exciting future of assisted tech.

He will touch on his latest challenge for 2024 completing a month long row  (yes a man with no arms or legs) in an adapted flying fifteen sailing boat from Falmouth to Dover. He will then handcycle from the furthest east Pig hotel in Canterbury to the furthest west in Harlyn Bay – a 999 mile round trip.

Alex inspires people to see life differently, to take every opportunity that comes their way and to live life to the full.

His keen sense of humour and self-deprecating manner stays with his audience as a reminder that life can send us curved balls for any of us at anytime. It’s how you conquer it that defines you.
